Passing of a Dream

So, I've waited a few days to comment on the passing of the Face of Apple, Steve Jobs.  I've done so purposefully to learn more about this very public, yet very private persona.  As an IT professional I truely admire the people who had the vision to improve our world through the use of personal computers.

For those of you who rally behind the Jobs and the company he built, those of you who adore the freedom given to you by Linus Torvald, and even those of us who appreciate Bill Gates / Paul Allen's commitment to making business world better by making products more user friendly, our world has gained from the competition these individuals have sought out with the intent to make computing better.

I truely hope that through his fame and fortune he has found a way to live a good honest life, and that he will be granted an opportunity to experience a better world.  For now I hope that Apple has found given the keys to the Ferrari ---to a man whom can continue to improve our world and challenge other companies to improve their products, and innovate others.
